About Xoximilco tour
Xoximilco is a night tour of the Xcaret group, which allows you to experience the traditional mexican party.
A large part of the tour takes place aboard a trajinera, a type of flat-bottomed boat that was used to navigate the Riviera Maya area.
You will board one of these trajineras, perfectly decorated and set for an unforgettable night of a Mexican dinner show while navigating the water canals.
What to do in Xoximilco?
Xoximilco is a great mexican party. On board the trajinera there is a lot of live traditional Mexican music, dances by entertainers, and of course, the inevitable Mexican food.
You will be able to taste the most representative Mexican dishes, those you always wanted to try.
To drink, there will be an open bar serving tequila, beer, rum, vodka, aguas frescas and soft drinks.
During the tour, other boats will approach, with mariachis, norteños, rancheros, jaranas, marimba and banda de pueblo, offering live shows of traditional Mexican music.
You will also be able to participate in dances and games proposed by the entertainers.
After the tour, the party continues on the ground, in a place decorated as an authentic Mexican village, where the party will continue, with dances to the rhythm of the rancheros.
The duration of the Xoximilco tour is approximately 3 hours.
Xoximilco Schedule
Xoximilco is open Monday through Saturday. Registration starts at 7:00 p.m.
The tour ends at 11:00 p.m. Subject to change by official disposition.
Recommendations for Xoximilco tour
The tour is for people over 5 years old (children accompanied by an adult). Children from 5 to 11 years old pay half price.
It is advisable to reserve in advance to ensure your place.
Important: Clothing and shoes. Comfortable clothes, long sleeves for mosquitoes and other insects that may be present at night. Remember that the tour is navigating at night through the jungles of the Riviera Maya.

Xoximilco is located on the Cancun-Chetumal highway, Km. 282.
From Cancun it is a 10 to 30 minute drive depending on the starting point.
From the airport it is a 5 minute drive.
From Playa del Carmen it is a 35 minute drive.
